OPPORTUNITY
Child influencers and family-oriented channels have become dominant forces in social media, but this trend often leads to negative repercussions.

Frequently, children are pressured to perform for their parents’ cameras, resulting in content that comprises their well-being in various ways.
The website leverages impactful infographics and artfully curated visuals to communicate the gravity of this everyday reality, while simultaneously offering educational resources to inform and empower users.
RESEARCH
Research indicates that much of this filmed content is produced without consent, with children not being safeguarded by existing child labor laws.

Furthermore, a significant concern is the lack of financial compensation, as children receive no renumeration for the content they contribute to these videos.
RESULTS
A digital awareness campaign that recognizes the controversy of child exploitation on social media platforms.

Taking the form of a UX/UI presence in addition to a series of OOH advertisements, this awareness campaign will not only educate users on the topic, but provide strategic calls to action such as online petitions and state bills that protect children in digital spaces.
